Ever More Crowd

Finally they are released!

The few tracks which I have been trying to get out for a while now are now availible for your listening pleasure. I have released them as a 3 track collection call 'Ever More Crowd'. These tracks were actually conceived last year but it has taken this long to get the to a point I'm happy with.

KC Accident & Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone!

Yep, its that time of year where people make new years resolutions which they know won't be kept. Despite this I am determined to make mine - 'More music production' - stick this time around!

To that end I have just uploaded a re-working of the main riff from Broken Social Scene's KC Accidental (see here), onto that Soundcloud. I won't call it a remix as it's only based on the first riff, and it's not quite original, which leaves me with 're-working'. Use the widget at the end of this post to listen! As always feedback is highly appreciated :)

Also, I have been cooking up some somewhat more original tunes which are imminent soon (within the next month) - so stay tuned.

Ever Changing, kinda work in progress.

Been doing some more production lately. This is a work in progress, but also pretty much finished. This is kind of my usual stuff really - kinda sombre piece. As always comments are welcome!

(Little side note - Used FL Studio for this one - tried doing some stuff in Live but its just too unstable and keeps crashing. Lack of standard features in Orion also starting to wear thin, unfortuanatly.)

Remember the little work in progress I posted about a week ago? Well I tried to get it progressing into something else but just couldn't get it flowing.

Anyway, here's the finished product. Not really a full track but something to listen to non the less:

Time for a refresh!

As is probably fairly evident by now, I have just been refreshing the look of this site / blog. The old template I was using was getting a bit tired and looked a bit to busy. I have tried to tone down the amount of content on screen a bit, but still have everything that was here before.


I have decided to not put a flash widget for every collection of tracks on my bandcamp page as this was slowing the loading time a little and made the site a bit busy. I have just put the most recent collection on the right hand side in a less offensive widget. Obviously all other finished tracks can still be accessed from tracks.ambesound.com.


Blogger now also allows separate pages to be created, which I have done so and created a 'Tracks' page. This provides links to where my tracks can be found.


There may be other tweaks to be made over the next few days but I am much happier with the overall layout than what was here before. Any comments are welcome (as ever).
